This ambitious event is orchestrated by Estia, Bidart engineering school. Called Tera Nova-a wink both to “New Earth” and the growing volumes of data (TERA meaning 10¹²)-this appointment wants to become an essential summit of artificial intelligence applied to agricultural issues.
Faced with the challenge of nourishing ten billion human beings by 2050 in a context of climate change, Tera Nova will highlight innovations such as sensors, drones, robots or the Internet of Things (IoT). These technologies promise to revolutionize agriculture, by optimizing irrigation, detecting culture disease or by refining harvests. The ambition of the forum is clear: to make these tools a lever accessible not only to large operators but also to family farms, in a sustainable and equitable approach.
With 500 international participants, 75 stakeholders and an almost finalized scientific conference, the event promises to attract leading figures. The honorary committee has personalities such as Barack Obama, Jack Ma, Aliko Dangote and Xavier Niel, solicited for flagship interventions. Tera Nova thus aims to become a global reference in the digital transition of campaigns.
