The poster for this “War and Peace” does not lack panache. While Andrew Davies, old guru of stylish adaptation, dusts off his classics, his British colleague Tom Harper injects the production with the breath and modernity that the filmmaker already demonstrated in “This is England” or “Peaky Blinders”.
