Five injured in collision on the A1 near Wallisellen (ZH)
An accident involving three cars left five injured on the A1 motorway near Wallisellen (ZH) during the night from Saturday to Sunday. The section, towards Zurich, had to be closed for several hours, according to the cantonal police.
(Keystone-ATS) The accident occurred around 2 a.m. at the entrance to Dübendorf. Two cars collided, one of them skidded on the road and hit the guardrail. A second collision occurred with a third vehicle. The injured suffered minor to serious injuries and were hospitalized.
The bodywork debris was scattered over 100 meters, requiring the closure of the highway for four hours. The three motorists, two men and a woman aged 20 and 28, will be reported.
