The lady Sadane Sow, aged 37, was brutally murdered last Thursday in appalling circumstances in the village of Amaly, located in the commune of Téssékré, department of Linguère. She was brutally killed with a machete by her husband, G. Sow, aged 50, who then abandoned her lifeless body in a bush.
According to Vox Populi, which reports the facts, G. Sow simulated abdominal pain during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Early Thursday morning, he asked his wife to take him in a cart to the Amaly health post. After walking about a kilometer, behind a bush, he forced her to get off before fatally hitting her with a machete, the newspaper said.
Still according to the same source, after committing his act, the suspect turned off his phone and took refuge in the village of Méweul, not far from Yang-Yang. Alerted, the gendarmerie immediately opened an investigation, located the individual and arrested him before placing him in police custody.
