Charleroi announced this Monday the signing of Raymond Asante. Arriving on loan from Udinese last summer, the 22-year-old Ghanaian winger now belongs to the Carole club until June 2026, with two additional years as an option.

Since the start of the season, Asante has not yet had much opportunity to show himself with the first team since he only came into play twice. This was obviously enough to convince the Carolos leaders to offer him a contract.

“Involved on a daily basis within the club and author of great performances with the U23s before being sidelined from the field due to an injury, Raymond has demonstrated exemplary professionalism. The club places its full trust in him and is convinced that he will be able to gradually establish himself in the squad”, we can read in the club press release.
