El Hadj Magatte Sèye replaced, appointed in Mauritania

El Hadj Magatte Sèye is no longer Senegal’s ambassador to . He was replaced by President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

During the Council of Ministers held this Wednesday, Mr. El Hadji Magatte SEYE, Principal Foreign Affairs Advisor, was appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Senegal to Mauritania. He will represent the interests of Senegal to His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El GHAZOUANI, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

With this appointment, El Hadji Magatte SEYE leaves his position as Ambassador of Senegal to France, a position he held until now. He succeeds Mr. Birame Mbagnick DIAGNE, called to other functions.
