Former Lions coach, Amara Traoré, has been appointed sports manager and head of the professional team of Linguère de Saint-Louis (Senegalese elite), announces a press release sent to Aps. La Linguère from Saint-Louis announced on Saturday evening that she had amicably parted ways with her head coach, El Hadji Massamba Cissé.
La Linguère explains that the decision to part ways with his head coach is part of his “desire to maintain the sporting dynamic of the club and meet the aspirations of the supporters”.
Former president of Linguère until June 2024, Amara Traoré takes an important place in the staff of the Northern club. Traoré was champion of Senegal in 2009 with Linguère.
In addition to the National A Team, the former striker from Gueugnon (France) coached Jaraaf de Dakar and two clubs from Guinea: Horoya and As Kaloum.
Earlier this week, he was appointed head of the elite department of the Senegalese Football Federation (Fsf).
