The Sûreté du Québec is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect, in relation to a theft of a purse, which occurred on the morning of December 30, in a business located in Saint-Georges.
The suspect recovered and hid in her basket a wallet from a previous customer, which had inadvertently been left on the checkout counter. The victim was able to recover his wallet, but it was empty. Nearly $1,000 in cash was stolen from him.
Description of the suspect:
— Would be aged between 55 and 70 years old
— Short hair
— Wore a dark coat and blue jeans.
— She would travel using a white four-wheeler.
