For Gautier Calomne, it is necessary on the one hand to anticipate and act upstream to avoid this type of incident but also to have a rapid reaction: “arrests, arrests and convictions, with severe penalties in the event of repeat offenses.”

Gautier Calomne is therefore First Alderman, and not mayor, the mayorate having returned to the PS, despite the higher number of reforming elected officials. Tax stop, mobility, Ixelles museum
What will be the priority of the new majority? “The red line will be: no new taxes, no tax increase, a tax stop for the entire legislature and the establishment of a budgetary trajectory which even allows taxes to be reduced. ”
In terms of mobility, a skill that falls to the MR, “we want unifying mobility, which does not exclude any mode of transport.” Gautier Calomne mentions a pedestrian plan, the securing of cycle paths and actions in favor of public transport but also a review of the developments carried out as part of the Good Move plan, with in particular the reopening to cars of the junction between the two ponds.
The one who also has culture in his responsibilities, further indicates that the Ixelles Museum, closed for work since 2018, will be reopened to the public in 2026.
