The decree started on December 23 but is continuing. The sale, purchase and distribution of fuelscorrosive fuels and flammable gas at retail are prohibited, in any transportable container, “unless duly justified”indicates the prefecture.
Another prohibition, that which concerns “the purchase, sale, possession, transport and use of fireworks of categories F2 and F3 are prohibited on public roads or in the direction of public spaces, in places of large gatherings of people, as well as in their surroundings and in residential buildings or in the direction of the latter.
According to the authorities, the use of these fireworks presents risks of serious harm to people and property.
From December 31, 2024, 6 p.m. to January 1, 2025, 8 a.m., in Nice
It will be to you prohibited from consuming alcoholic beverages on public roadsoutside the terraces of authorized restaurants and drinking establishments.
This ban will be effective in several places in the city: in the city center, in Old Nice, in the west of Nice, but also in the east of the city.
