Martin St-Louis announced that goaltender Cayden Primeau will be placed on waivers on Saturday by the Montreal Canadiens.
Primeau was absent from CH training Friday in Fort Lauderdale.
The move will be made on Saturday since the NHL roster freeze for the Christmas period ends on December 28 at 12:01 a.m.
“Primeau must regain his confidence. It’s hard to find her when you don’t have any presences right away, explained St-Louis. You can have good streaks, but you have to find consistency too. »
“He is still very young. This is his path currently and he is not the first player to do this,” he added.
