Settat welcomes its very first international fast food restaurant with the official inauguration of a Burger King restaurant, this Tuesday, December 24, 2024. This event marks an important milestone for the city, which sees the establishment of one of the fast food chains the most iconic in the world.
During the opening ceremony, Nacer Bendriss, General Manager of Burger King Morocco, declared on this subject: “We are delighted to open our first restaurant in Settat and to contribute to this great dynamic of development of the city, by offering a new fast food option for residents and creating jobs to support the region’s economic growth. » The event brought together representatives of Burger King, as well as Abdesslam Rhnimi, Managing Director of TotalEnergies, and Nadia Fadmi, President of the Municipality of Settat.

The restaurant, located within the TotalEnergies station on Avenue Mohammed V, offers a range of varied services, including a Drive Thru service, home delivery, a children’s play area, table service, and a organizing birthday parties. In addition, this new location has enabled the creation of around fifty direct and indirect jobs, accompanied by training programs for new employees.

This opening is part of Burger King Maroc’s expansion plan. The brand, which now has 42 restaurants across the Kingdom and employs more than 1,000 people, plans to open five new establishments by 2025.
