A complaint for breach of trust targeting MP Abdoulaye Sylla was filed with the Criminal Investigation Division (Dic), according to seneweb. This case concerns a financial dispute linked to an advertising campaign carried out during the last legislative elections.
Sokhna Thiam, residing in Zone A2, claims to have been wronged by Abdoulaye Sylla. According to police sources, she contacted the Dic on December 24 through her lawyer, Me Abdy Nar Ndiaye. General director of Média Center Communication and advertising billboard manager, Sokhna Thiam explains that she was put in contact with Abdoulaye Sylla by Boubacar Diallo, alias “Dj Boubs”, during the campaign.

The candidate Sylla had requested his services for an advertising display operation. An agreement was reached, with a deposit of 20 million F CFA out of a total amount of 47.475 million F CFA. However, despite several reminders, the balance was never paid. Faced with the lack of payment, Sokhna Thiam decided to take the matter to court, thus involving Abdoulaye Sylla, now a deputy, in ongoing legal proceedings.
