Disappearance of Antony in Voiron: the 16-year-old was found dead during a hunt

Missing since Thursday December 5 after an argument with his brother, Antony Papet (16 years old), had not given any sign of life since. The teenager's body was found on Saturday, December 21, in Voiron (Isère) during a citizen search organized in the afternoon by the young man's family, reports France Bleu.

It was one of the participants who discovered his body, indicates The Dauphiné which specifies that the macabre discovery was made in an undergrowth located near the place where Antony's mother lives and where the hunt had started.

In the evening, the Grenoble public prosecutor's office, through the public prosecutor, Eric Vaillant, confirmed that it was indeed the body of Antony, found in the Montponçon district of Voiron. The causes of his death are currently unknown.

Accustomed to running away

On the day of his disappearance, December 5, Antony was only dressed in a tracksuit and a down jacket, and only had his cell phone with him. He had hastily left his mother's home following the argument with his brother and then had not given any further news, which was not his habit, indicated our colleagues from France Bleu.

At first, the family did not believe in another runaway, even if Antony had already run away. Housed in a shelter, he had the habit of running away. The teenager had returned to live with his mother in Voiron, reported The Dauphiné.

An investigation into the causes of his death was opened and entrusted to the police.
