Non-registered MP Tahirou Sarr sent a letter to the Minister of Justice, Ousmane Diagne, to defend nine parliamentary initiatives that he considers essential to strengthen justice and correct the administrative abuses of the past. In this missive dated December 19, 2024, he expresses his desire to make justice more accessible and equitable for all Senegalese.
Among the proposals, the general audit of civil status and its management by the gendarmerie occupy a central place. The MP also calls for sanctions against those responsible for identity trafficking and the recovery of documents fraudulently allocated between 2007 and 2024.

Tahirou Sarr advocates the creation of agricultural prisons, in partnership with municipal cooperatives, to relieve congestion in penitentiary centers while promoting the reintegration of prisoners. He also campaigns for divorce reform, allowing couples to close their proceedings within nine months, while respecting the rights of women and men.
The MP proposes establishing pools of lawyers in each embassy to defend Senegalese abroad and creating a national directorate dedicated to repairing injustices suffered between 2000 and 2024. This last point would aim to restore rights in cases of abuse of authority or monopolization.
