Mountain and linguistic diversity
The visual identity is now known. The artistic director, Artur Deyneuve, chose listening for his concept “Unity Shapes Love”, while the decor will be inspired by the mountains and linguistic diversity.
The sound universe, “modern and lively”, will be dotted with yodelling and Basel drums. The organizers speak of a “revolutionary” stage concept and a “global experience like we have never seen before at Eurovision”.
In total, nine shows are planned in the Halle Saint-Jacques: the two semi-finals on May 13 and 15, the grand final on May 17 as well as six additional shows. A public viewing at St. Jakob Park, a “Eurovision village” and other festivities throughout the city are also planned, with funding from Basel-City to the tune of 37.5 million having been accepted at the polls at the end november.
