In a dying French market, with a seventh consecutive month of decline in November at -13%, here are the three new cars which have sold the most since the start of the year in our country.
133,324 units: this is the score for sales of new vehicles registered in France from January 1 to November 30. A particularly low result, and a very worrying trend for the year 2024, with a projection of overall sales at 1.7 million units, or even less.
The sixth electric R5
Anyway, the three best-selling cars in our country last month are, and this is anything but a surprise, the Renault Clio, with 7,104 new customers (but down 5 points compared to the same month of 2023), followed by the Peugeot 208 (including E-208), which attracted 5,915 buyers (+22.6%), while on the third step of the podium, the Dacia Sandero sold 5,686 units, an increase compared to November 2023 of + 7.9%. Finally, note that, for its first full month of marketing in France, the 100% electric Renault 5 E-Tech takes sixth position in the ranking, all energies combined (and first place for electric vehicles) with, in the private segment, 2,785 registrations recorded last month.
