Real Madrid star striker Vinicius Junior, injured in his hamstring, is out of Wednesday’s Champions League match at Liverpool (matchday 5), the Spanish club said on Monday. “After tests carried out today, our player Vinicius Junior was diagnosed with a hamstring injury in his left leg,” Real Madrid said in a statement.
The player himself briefly commented on this announcement on his social networks: “The infernal cadences……. Time for convalescence”he wrote on month.
In this case, “Vini Jr”, who played the entire championship match on Sunday evening in Leganes (3-0 victory for Real), will also miss the trip to Bergamo to face Atalanta on December 10.
