Mbappé's classy gestures with Leganes players

This Sunday afternoon, Kylian Mbappé was expected at the turn after two weeks of international break where Didier Deschamps had left him out of the France team to refresh his skills. Without being completely convincing in a left winger role, while the point was left to Vinicius, Mbappé still actively participated in Real Madrid's victory against Leganes (3-0) with in particular a goal on a perfect offering of Mbappé.

Leganes captain regrets Mbappé's goal

The player from the modest club Leganes then gave a more global analysis of a match which ended with a heavy final addition. Even if Sergio Gonzalez does not regret this necessarily special meeting against the Madrid stars. “It's a very special match because the promotion has been very difficult and the fact that we can enjoy a match like this against Real Madrid here in Leganés generates a lot of enthusiasm, it's been very nice. We leave a little dejected because the score is a little heavy from what we have seen, but we are proud because we have the level. We had a very good match, especially in the first half where we did what we wanted. It was a shame to concede Mbappé's goal because we would have reached half-time at 0-0 and we would have gone in with a different mentality. We leave with a bittersweet feeling because the goals were due to our mistakes,” Gonzalez analyzed after the match.
