(Keystone-ATS) Stéphane Theurillat received 10,211 votes while the absolute majority was set at 10,126 votes. Green Pauline Godat obtained 7,718 votes. Candidate for HelvEthica, a movement which emerged during the pandemic and opposed to health measures, Pascal Prince was left behind with 2,321 votes. Participation reached 35.4%.

The Center will therefore have succeeded in recovering its 2nd seat lost during a complementary election in 2020. Stéphane Theurillat is a member of Parliament and an executive in a watchmaking company. The Government will have two socialists, two centrists and a PCSI at the end of the legislature.

The Greens, the Socialist Party and the alternative left CS-POP, who presented a common front, failed to tilt the executive towards a left-wing majority.
