The steel puppet goes to have fun in the Enchanted Island, a dilapidated Disneyland over which reigns an evil clown who instills hatred and pack spirit in children: it is not into donkeys but into wolves that they transform the kids. Meanwhile, Gepetto languishes in the belly of Monstro, a mutant irradiated fish… There are still beatings, injustices, suicides, a kamikaze penguin and two glimmers of hope: Snow White finds love and Pinocchio finds love. family. These small concessions to happiness in no way alter the tragic grandeur of the work.
