Israel accuses the ICC of having “lost all legitimacy” with its “absurd” arrest warrants – Telquel.ma

C‘is a dark day for (the ICC), which has lost all legitimacy to exist and act”, writes Saar on his X account.

The Hague court “behaved like a political plaything in the service of the most extreme elements working to undermine security and stability in the Middle East”adds Saar, for whom the Court issued absurd orders without having the authority to do so against Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants this Thursday against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his former defense minister Yoav Gallant and Hamas leader Mohammed Deïf.

The Court “reasonable grounds to believe“that Netanyahu and Gallant”bear criminal responsibility” of the following crimes: “the war crime of using starvation as a method of warfare”, as well as “crimes against humanity”, among which “killings, persecution and other inhumane acts”, and the perpetration of “attacks intentionally directed against the civilian population”, she reports in a press release.
