Civil Defense announces 22 dead in Israeli strike

The Civil Defense of the Gaza Strip announced Thursday the deaths of 22 people killed overnight by an Israeli strike in Gaza City, medical sources reporting dozens of deaths in another nighttime strike in the north of the territory.

“We confirm that 22 martyrs were transferred [vers des hôpitaux] after a strike aimed at [une] maison […] to Sheikh Radwan”, district of Gaza City, Mahmoud Bassal, spokesperson for Civil Defense, told AFP.

Another strike occurred around midnight (22:00 GMT) in the Beit Lahia area and Jabalia left dozens dead, according to medical sources.

Civil Defense has not yet announced the results of this second strike.
