  • It took no more than 48 hours for the Ukrainians to take advantage of the American green light to strike targets inside Russia.

  • In Russia, the confirmation of the use of American missiles by the Ministry of Defense surprised more than one Russian military expert.

  • Very listened to, these experts identify troubling elements in the communication from the Ministry of Defense.

Six ATACMS missiles against an ammunition depot near Bryansk, Russia: it did not take more than 48 hours for the Ukrainians to take advantage of the green light – still unofficial to this day – given by the White House to strike targets inside Russia with tactical missiles supplied by the US military. It was only at midday on Tuesday, October 19 that the Russian Defense Minister confirmed this attack, claiming to have intercepted the six projectiles, five of which were completely destroyed and the sixth was “damaged”. “Fragments” of the latter falling within the perimeter of the depot would have caused a fire that was quickly extinguished, without causing any casualties or even damage, according to the official press release. The ministry also specifies that the American ATACMS would have been intercepted by S-400 and Pantsir aerial batteries – this is indeed the best the Russians currently have in terms of anti-aircraft defense.
