The local police carried out a muscular operation in Medina Salam, in a brothel operated by a certain Y. Fall, a man identified as the owner and alleged pimp. During this raid, the police surprised a 21-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman in the middle of a sexual act.
According to information reported by L’Obsthe agents, who had infiltrated the establishment under cover of darkness, surprised the two partners in a room. The 21-year-old young man, after being arrested, admitted to having paid 3,000 FCFA for the act. Another couple was also apprehended in a similar situation, as they were about to have sex.
The owner of the premises, Y. Fall, a family man, was arrested. However, he strongly denied the accusations of pimping against him. Following his arrest, he was transferred last Friday to the Louga Prison and Correction, where he is currently awaiting further legal proceedings.
This intervention echoes increased police efforts to combat pimping and prostitution in the region. The case of Y. Fall arouses great interest, and the courts will have to rule on his involvement in these illegal activities.
