The telecoms operator Sunrise has been awarded a contract to provide services for the fixed network by the SBB. This commitment, lasting five years, has a value of 6.3 million francs.

The migration process will begin on August 1 and full implementation of the services will begin at the beginning of 2025, Sunrise announced on the social network LinkedIn.

The number two telecoms company in Switzerland is ahead of Swisscom. The contract covers connections to the fixed network, internet and, on certain sites, television, a spokesperson told the AWP press agency.
