It’s official, ASSE knows its 2024/2025 calendar

The LFP has just communicated the complete competition calendar for the 2024/2025 season. For its big return to Ligue 1, ASSE will start its year with a trip to Monaco and end its season at home against Toulouse.

Announced mid-week, the Ligue 1 calendar is finally available. A key moment in the season that supporters of the different clubs in France always scrutinize in order to plan their year of travel. On the ASSE side, the first date checked is that of the two derbies, they will take place at Geoffroy-Guichard on April 20 during day 30 and November 10 on the Lyon side for day 11.

The Greens will travel to Monaco on the first day of the championship. A team which historically has often crossed paths with the Stéphanois. The two clubs have met 115 times, 46 victories for the Greens, 27 draws and 42 defeats. ASSE’s last victory against ASM dates back to 2019 during a Coupe de France match (Monaco 0-1 ASSE in 2019/2020). The Forez players will end the year at home against Toulouse, the weekend of May 18, 2025.

The first day of the 2024/2025 Ligue 1 championship:

  • Brest – OM
  • Monaco – Saint-Étienne
  • Montpellier – Strasbourg
  • Toulouse – Nantes
  • Angers – Lens
  • Reims – Lille
  • Auxerre – Nice
  • Le Havre – PSG
  • Rennes – Lyon

During the first five days of the championship, the Greens will therefore go to Monaco before hosting Le Havre on the second day of the championship. It will then be a reunion in Brest for Dall’Oglio in Brittany (D3), the reception of Lille (D4) and a trip to Nice (D5).

Other key dates, the home match against Marseille on December 8 or even the reception of PSG on March 30.
