For the president of the Union of Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and Practical Nurses of Laval (SIIIAL-CSQ), Déreck Cyr, this is a return to austerity […] where we directly cut health care to the population.

For nurses, respiratory therapists and practical nurses, we are talking about more than 200 vacant positions which are not filled and which the employer thinks are necessary for the proper functioning of the CISSS from Lavaladds Mr. Cyr.

So, there are teams who will be suffering, understaffed, who are overworked, who will not have new hands to come and help them.
