Since 12:45 p.m. this Tuesday, the M2 metro no longer runs in Lausanne between Bessières and Ouchy stations. Operation is suspended on this section for an indefinite period.
On the Lausanne Public Transport website, the operator specifies that “traffic is interrupted (…) for operational reasons” and that a next situation update will take place at 1:45 p.m.
A replacement bus service has been put in place to ensure the connection between these two stations. “The replacement bus service runs between Lausanne-Gare and Sallaz. The following stops are served: Lausanne-Gare (stop on platform A of lines 1-21) – Mirabeau (stop on line 1) – Bessières (stops on line 6) – CHUV (on the road) – Sallaz (stop on platform C of line 41)”, add the TL.
