As Burkina Faso prepares to face Senegal in a decisive match counting for the 5th day of the CAN 2025 qualifiers, the Stallions must face a wave of last minute withdrawals. Six Burkinabe players, including five key starters, were forced to withdraw due to injuries, leaving coach Brama Traoré forced to review his squad.

Among those absent, executives such as Bertrand Traoré, Dango Ouattara, Mohamed Konaté, Gustavo Sangaré, Hervé Koffi and Abdoul Kader Ouattara.
