A 20-year-old man is stabbed in Rive
READER INFO – The victim was stabbed a little before 5 p.m. on rue du Vieux-Collège this Sunday. Seriously injured, the young man was taken to hospital.

Stabbed in the middle of the street and in broad daylight. It was 4:50 p.m. when the police were alerted to an attack in the Rive district. A 20-year-old man was stabbed in the thigh. Seriously injured, he was taken to the Emergency Department of the University Hospitals of Geneva.
The perpetrator fled. Several police patrols were engaged to find the attacker. A police investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of this attack. The police are not providing any further communication at this time.
A security cordon was set up between rue du Vieux-Collège and rue d’Italie. Access to the stairs of Calvin College was also blocked by the police. It was only around 7 p.m. that the measures were lifted.
