Rabat – The Moroccan Retirement Fund (CMR) organized, Saturday in Rabat, the first edition of Open Days dedicated to new retirees, under the slogan “Your retirement…. Our commitment continues”, with the objective of supporting them and accompanying and promoting a smooth transition to retirement.
This meeting, also broadcast online on the official CMR portal, aims to inform people about to be retired of several innovative digital services provided by the institution to users, allowing them in particular to monitor the situation of their pensions through the online platform.
On this occasion, the director of the CMR, Lotfi Boujendar stressed that this meeting constitutes an appropriate opportunity to communicate with the employees who will be retired, explaining that it is an opportunity to present the operating mechanisms of the Fund and the different services it offers, as well as to answer questions from retirees and listen to their suggestions.
These open days also aim to strengthen the relationship between the Fund and its users, especially since this event offered the opportunity to present the new services launched by the Fund, he added, noting that the Fund continues to serve citizens through its central offices or delegations spread across the Kingdom, to listen to their requests and respond to their needs.
Noting that the Moroccan Pension Fund welcomes between 12 and 15 thousand new retirees each year, Mr. Boujendar indicated that the rate of pensions paid upon retirement reached 98%, “which reflects the efficiency of the system and constitutes a positive indicator”.
For her part, Khadija El Houdaighi, head of the Client department, presented a detailed presentation of all the services provided by the Fund, emphasizing that the client is at the center of attention of this establishment, where efforts have been made to simplify administrative procedures and establish data exchange mechanisms with multiple partners in order to update the status of pensions.
Ms. El Houdaighi also noted that services have been digitized, thanks to the creation of an online portal for employers and partners, in addition to the launch of a new portal which offers different digital paths to members, retirees and beneficiaries. .
She also emphasized the importance of collecting customer opinions periodically to improve the Fund’s services and monitor customer satisfaction indicators, emphasizing the need to involve retirees in the development of services.
The head of the Customer department also mentioned the conclusion of several agreements with various economic institutions, such as banks and social insurance companies, in order to improve the services provided.
In the same context, Mohamed Hamzaoui, head of the customer relations division, addressed the main questions that may be raised by new retirees, such as the deadline for payment of retirement pensions and the method of calculating pension amounts, as well as the management of family allowances and the continuity of affiliation with other social organizations.
Regarding the simplification of procedures, Mr. Hamzaoui indicated that the “life control” approach is now based on the exchange of electronic data with the civil status services of the Ministry of the Interior.
For his part, the head of the Reception and Network Animation division, Hatim Benmiloud provided explanations on the process of creating an account on the CMR electronic platform and the mechanisms of interaction and access to the electronic service, noting that a WhatsApp service “pass-Takaa3od” was launched to monitor pension files, affiliation data and the calculation of the pension estimate, as well as to improve the services of supplementary retirement and to download the retiree card.
During these days, an interactive session was held with the participation of several new retirees who raised questions related to their concerns.
At the end of this meeting, retirees expressed the importance of strengthening the local policy and offering quality services, as well as the need to define commitments and deadlines to be honored according to their aspirations.
