Projectile fire targeted the town of Mahbes, in the Moroccan Sahara, while a local festival was taking place there.
According to the site Al3omkFortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The projectiles, whose origin is attributed to the Polisario Front, fell near a large gathering of people, causing a panic.

The commune of Mahbes, located in the province of Assa-Zag, hosts from November 9 to 11 the third edition of the National Green March Festival, commemorating its 49th anniversary.
This incident recalls a similar event that occurred in October 2023. The Polisario Front then fired projectiles at the town of Smara, leaving one dead – a Moroccan residing abroad – and three injured. The explosions affected residential and industrial areas of the city. The Moroccan authorities then indicated that the injured had been taken care of by the emergency services and that the material damage was limited to two homes.
