The Valais cantonal police are calling for witnesses concerning the robbery of the Martigny CFF station counter which took place this Friday morning. Thanks to the first elements of the investigation, the police communicated that at least two individuals were involved.
They correspond to the following description: the first, a man, measuring between approximately 1m65 and 1m70, of slender build, he was dressed in dark pants as well as a black jacket and hat, whose face was partially covered , he also carried a green sports bag. He made a brief visit to platform no. 1 of the station at 7:13 a.m. The second individual was wearing a ¾ khaki-colored down jacket, and was probably in a vehicle near the station. The Public Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation. Anyone who can provide information about these individuals who attended the Martigny CFF station during the night from Thursday to Friday, between 00:00 and 03:15 and shortly before 07:15 are asked to contact the Valais cantonal police engagement center at 027 326 56 56.
