The Swiss Games Museum in La Tour-de-Peilz is hosting a “Museomix” until Sunday, a creative marathon to make its exhibitions more fun and immersive.
Nearly 40 inventors from the world of computer coding, game design and graphics will design new concepts that integrate gaming into the museum journey. At the end of the weekend, visitors will be able to test these prototypes live and observe behind the scenes of innovation at the museum.
Among the five issues to be resolved, professionals will have to make certain fragile and old objects from the collection playable and accessible to the public. Sélim Krichane, director of the Swiss Games Museum, gives us an example of what is being done in the current exhibition.
The afternoons of Saturday and Sunday will be dedicated to children aged 8 to 12 who will be able to learn about cultural mediation.
