A key player in automobile distribution in Morocco, M-Automotiv recently entered into an exclusive partnership with JAC Motors, a major player in the Chinese automobile industry. If this partnership opens the way to the introduction of a wide range of passenger and utility vehicles on the Moroccan market, it suggests in the medium term the creation of an industrial platform dedicated to local assembly.
In detail, this partnership marks a key step for M-Automotiv, reflecting its ambition to establish itself as a key player in the deployment of innovative and accessible mobility solutions to customers in Morocco. With the upcoming arrival of a varied range of JAC Motors branded models, based around passenger cars, utility vehicles, including vans, pick-ups, and even trucks, M-Automotiv is considerably expanding its commercial activities .

Precisely, as part of its development ambitions, the Moroccan operator is in the process of recruiting numerous profiles in line with its new activities. It should also be noted that the commercial launch linked to the distribution of JAC Motors models is planned for the second quarter of 2025.
A national industrial platform
However, the ambitions of M-Automotiv and JAC Motors go well beyond the simple import of CBU (Complete Built-Up) vehicles. Indeed, the two partners plan, in the medium term, to set up an industrial platform dedicated exclusively to local CKD (Completely Knocked Down) assembly, in collaboration with local assembly units. Still, this strategic project is not limited to strengthening the presence of JAC Motors in Morocco; and for good reason, it also aims to boost the national industrial ecosystem.

Moreover, by promoting the transfer of skills and integrating more local components, this industrial project will generate new employment opportunities, while contributing significantly to the economic development and industrial attractiveness of the Kingdom. Not to mention that this local industrial platform, a true strategic hub on Moroccan soil, will serve to strengthen the presence of the two partners on the national market while establishing a solid base for their expansion on the African continent.

“This partnership with JAC Motors is a strategic step in our development, which confirms our position as automotive leader in the Moroccan market and our commitment to offering modern, accessible mobility solutions adapted to market needs. We are also proud to be able to support local employment through concrete actions, in particular through our robust recruitment plan,” underlined Souhail Houmaini, Managing Director of M-Automotiv, as part of a conference dedicated to national press.
Also present on this occasion, David Zhang, VP JAC Motors, for his part declared: “We are delighted to partner with M-Automotiv to introduce our brand to Morocco. This partnership reflects our vision of “Better Drive, Better Life” and our desire to offer efficient and reliable vehicles to Moroccan consumers. Together, we will work to develop a solid distribution network and offer innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.
