In just under two hours, the duration of WWDC 2024, the AAPL share price was like riding a rollercoaster. Falls and rises which correspond exactly to the announcements of the evening.
Are you one of those who were delighted by the keynote, or those who were disappointed? After more than 1 hour 40 minutes of conference, during which Tim Cook & co were able to reveal all the new software developments to come, we feel that investors are still hungry. And for good reason, the value of AAPL stock only fell throughout the keynote.
Valued at $195.64, AAPL stock rose slightly during the first 20 minutes of the conference, during which Apple announced visionOS 2 and the international launch of Vision Pro. But then, the price only fell during the presentation of iOS 18, Audio & Home and watchOS 11. If it experienced a slight recovery in value during the presentations of iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia is Apple Intelligence which finished burying the share price to close the day at $193.12 per share, or 3 points less than at the start of the keynote.
So, is this the result of a very average conference and announcements? Nothing is less sure. Apple Intelligence, however, has been the long-awaited announcement for months, while iOS is generally a factor allowing the value of AAPL stock to rise. However, this will have had the completely opposite effect this year…
