– Teenage girl falls to death while hiking
This Sunday, the body of a young girl was found lifeless by emergency services in the region of the Gorges Mystérieuses à Tête Noire in the town of Trient.

The walk turned into a tragedy for the family of American tourists who were hiking on the “Gorges Mystérieuses” trail in Trient, in Valais. This Sunday, June 9, in the morning, shortly after 10:30 a.m., a 16-year-old American girl fell down an embankment about a hundred meters and lost her life.
The young girl, who was the couple’s best friend, did not survive the fall despite the rapid intervention of emergency services, reports the cantonal police of Valais. The rescuers also evacuated the father who was trying to find the victim. The latter was extracted from a rock wall where it had remained stuck. An investigation has been opened.
