Four people were injured during a brawl with axes in an RER E train this Monday, November 4 around 8 a.m. at Ozoir-la-Ferrière station (Seine-et-Marne), we learned. BFM Paris Île-de-France from police sources.
Among the victims, two were more seriously injured: one had his hand cut off and another had his skull split open.
Guest of BFMTV this Monday, Reda Belhaj, Île-de-France spokesperson for the UN1TE police union, spoke about the age of the victims. “What is frightening is the age of the victims (…) they are extremely young individuals, who according to the descriptions, are the age of college students,” he specifies.
RER E traffic disrupted
This violent fight caused traffic disruption on the RER E between Haussman Saint-Lazare and Tournan station in both directions of traffic. Several trains had to be canceled.
Around 9 a.m., a train was able to resume its route. According to the SNCF account, the police and firefighters are on site.
