The head of the list of the “And Bessal Senegal” coalition in the department of Bambey (Diourbel center) for the legislative elections on November 17, Pape Momar Ngom promised to “defend the true interests of the populations of the department of Bambey”.
”Bambey has been living with the same problems for several decades. This is why we have the ambition, once elected as a deputy, to defend the true interests of the populations” he declared in an interview with the APS.
According to him, several villages in the Bambey department face a low rate of electrification and a lack of basic social infrastructure.
Pape Momar Ngom wants to encourage the public authorities to pave the Ndangalma, Lambaye and Baba Garage road. A grievance of several years from the populations of this part of Baol, he added.
Once in the national assembly, the head of the departmental list of the “And Bessal Senegal” coalition also intends to promote the strengthening of basic social infrastructures in key development sectors such as education and health.
Concerning the campaign strategy, Mr. Ngom says he is banking on local visits, meetings and caravans in the twelve communes of the Bambey department.
