The Neuchâtel right reveals its cards in view of the elections to the Council of State on March 23. Saturday afternoon, the PLR accepted the candidacy of Quentin di Meo, president of its group on the Grand Council, to defend the seat left vacant by the resigning Alain Ribaux. He will be on the list alongside his party colleagues, the outgoing Crystel Graf and Laurent Favre. To block a united left, the right has, as expected, chosen an alliance.
The UDC, which must still validate this principle and the name of its candidate on Wednesday, for its part announced that it would propose to its assembly the municipal councilor and president of La Chaux-de-Fonds Thierry Brechbühler. As for the Center, which completes the poster, it launches its vice-president and deputy Manon Freitag. For the three parties, the names that have been circulating in recent days have therefore been confirmed.
