BMW prepares series production of the future iX3
Production of test vehicles has just started in Debrecen, in a brand new factory. The new generation electric BMWs are now approaching the “ serial maturity “. This first step consists of testing all the factory processes in real conditions in order to optimize them and guarantee “ a smooth start for mass production “. All operations must run smoothly.
This is a delicate phase because the number of parts is limited and the processes are new. The Munich firm specifies that a “ special attention » is granted to the validation of cutting-edge production systems and tools, including their digital connectivity. Factory employees will also undergo intensive training on the facilities and machines. The official launch will take place at the end of 2025.
