Around 4:30 p.m. Friday, November 1, residents of the Polygone district of Valence heard gunshots in the middle of the street. The judicial police went to the site to carry out the investigation, but immediately the trail of a new settling of scores against a backdrop of drug trafficking emerged. The young person was known to the police, as was the site, identified as one of the main drug dealing points in the city.
In the evening, the prefect of Drôme Thierry Devimeux and the mayor (LR) of Valence, Nicolas Daragon, went to the site alongside the CRS 83 who came to restore and maintain order.
