Abandoned strollers in the middle of a field, on a path or near a forest? These scenes have multiplied on social networks for almost two years in the town of Gibloux. This locality, located between Friborg and Bulle, has been the scene of several intriguing thefts and movements of strollers.
Monica Gregorio lives in the town. Her stroller has been stolen twice. “We really don’t know what’s going on. Basically, I clearly told myself that I was going to find her. I was sure of it. The trouble sown among young parents

In the end, two complaints were filed and the police were recently able to get their hands on the alleged perpetrator of these acts. He is an 18-year-old man who lives in the town.
According to the investigation, he broke into vehicle covers or storage rooms on several occasions. He took strollers and abandoned them further into the village, either out of play or out of overwhelming need. Police say he likely acted under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
