Why “ET The Extraterrestrial”?
Being one of her favorite films when she was a child, Heidi Klum had the idea of dressing up as ET after the previous edition, in October 2023 (she was disguised that year as a peacock). The model added: “They don't have genitals, I like the idea that we're all the same.” »
After submitting his idea to his teams, several viewings of the film were necessary to precisely study the body of this very special creature. Costume designer Mike Marino ensured that the robotic headdress (weighing over 2kg) fit securely on Heidi's shoulders. The latter laughingly declared to journalists present during the last fitting: “It’s very high-tech”.
