After four years of investigation, this 59-year-old man has been appearing before the Assize Court since Tuesday, notably for “complicity in the rape of minors” and “trafficking in human beings”.

After a deliberation of more than six hours, the Assize Court found the accused guilty of complicity in rape and sexual assault on minors as a repeat offender. A former “star” graphic designer for Disney and Pixar was sentenced, Thursday night, October 31, to 25 years in prison with a two-thirds security period.

The Paris Assize Court also ordered a twenty-year socio-judicial follow-up, the obligation to compensate the civil parties and the definitive ban on exercising a profession with minors. The 59-year-old man had been on trial since Tuesday for having, between 2012 and 2021, paid Filipino women to rape and sexually assault young girls, aged five to 10, and at least once a little girl aged 2 years, in front of a webcam via the practice of “livestreaming”. On the other side of the screen, the accused gave the orders, which he himself described as'”horrible” et “disgusting” and masturbated.

The accused was also found guilty of complicity in aggravated human trafficking of minors as a repeat offender and habitual viewing of child pornography content online. The court accepted the aggravating circumstance of acts of torture and barbarity which had been submitted to it by the prosecution concerning the facts of complicity in rape, sexual assault and human trafficking. However, he was acquitted of possession of child pornography images. “give the benefit of the doubt”.

During his last speech, he once again admitted his guilt. “I realize everything I have done. I ask forgiveness from the victims,” he added.
