The dredging of the Saloum bank, the rehabilitation of the port of Kaolack to strengthen the employment of young people and women, the erection of professional training centers, a sanitation plan, the obsolescence of the roads, the raising of the technical platform health, making this crossroads city the capital of the central zone, are among others the various problems which prevent Saloum from developing.
MP Rokhy Ndiaye made this vibrant plea to the new authorities during this giga meeting which was held at the Boustane field in the presence of activists, PM Sonko, Pastéfien de Kaolack officials and allies. Rokhy Ndiaye also invited the Kaolackois to massively confer a majority to the regime in place during these early legislative elections on November 17. “The political leaders of the old regime brought nothing in terms of infrastructural and economic development to Kaolack,” she insisted.
