According to the same sources, the exact location of the ceremony has not yet been revealed. For the third consecutive time, Morocco will host the CAF awards ceremony. The country organized the first edition at the Mohammed VI complex, where Senegalese player Sadio Mané won the African Ballon d’Or. During the last edition held in Marrakech, the Nigerian Victor Osimhen was crowned.

The list of candidates for the next African Ballon d’Or is expected to include Brahim Diaz, winner of the Champions League, the Spanish championship and the European Super Cup with Real Madrid, as well as Achraf Hakimi, who won the titles champion and Coupe de with Saint-Germain.
