Reality, my friends, is a terrible thing.
It is the mortal enemy of all the ideologues of the world throughout the ages.
The problem with reality is that you can imagine everything, fantasize everything, but it catches up with you.
Always.
This may take time.
But he catches up with you.
Always.
You’ve heard about the collapse of France’s results in the Pisa rankings. Nevermind. We don’t see the consequences. Nevermind.
And then one day, suddenly we realize that the plane engines are failing (in the United States where 35% of Boeing employees are under cannabis), that the trains are no longer able to run, or tomorrow you will see that we will no longer be able to collect trash, provide treatment in hospitals or fight against the proliferation of rats which now eat children in their sleep. Besides, in the past, in my remote Normandy, we swaddled the kids and hung them from the ankles which protruded from the beams of the houses to put them up high out of the reach of the rats… that was 2 centuries ago.
Today I wanted to share two figures with you.
Two “exam” results.
The first is the results of the 2024 baccalaureate.
“The success rate for the general baccalaureate is 96.1%, up 0.4 points compared to the June 2023 session.” source National Education here.
The second is the symmetrical rate of failure in the exams to become a real estate diagnostician and do a DPE.
“While the success rates for DPE and energy audit certification tests have seen a sharp drop since the entry into force of the new examination methods on July 1, 2024, the organizations of diagnosticians are warning of the urgency of the situation. It has been a little more than two months since the rules for obtaining energy performance diagnosis (DPE) and energy audit certifications have changed: increase in the duration of initial training, change in examination methods, etc. However, the success rate of candidates has decreased significantly following the entry into force of this new formula, on July 1, 2024. In a letter sent on October 2, 2024 to the public authorities, the association of people certification bodies (AOCP) declares in fact to estimate “ a failure rate on the theoretical part of more than 80% for the energy audit field and 80 to 95% for the DPE field”.
96% success in the Bac, for a failure rate of 95% in the DPE!
And then reality hits you in the face.
This is what 20 years of demagogy, an “inclusive” class and institutionalized mediocrity give us.
This doesn’t work.
We are no longer able to train.
You know I am one of those who think that everyone has their place and that everyone should have their place in society. But I can tell you from collecting many testimonies that teaching is no longer possible today with the heterogeneity of students that is imposed in classes. It is on the altar of the best for some and a very few, the destruction of the intellectual and cognitive capacities of the majority. It is the illusion to believe that 96% of kids can have a “baccalaureate”. This is false.
And besides, the Baccalaureate is only an exam certifying knowledge at a moment’s notice. It has nothing to do with the talents of the individual.
However, you cannot have these two figures without relating them.
They must be linked.
They must be linked together.
We all know that the baccalaureate is absolutely worthless.
We all know the level is falling.
We all know that young people massively use Chat GPT and no longer read, no longer work, no longer learn.
We are witnessing an intellectual collapse of the country.
And yet… we have factories to run, nuclear power plants to monitor, planes to fly, DPEs to carry out.
We can no longer achieve anything.
We collapse under two great weights.
The weight of complexity.
The weight of widespread mediocrity, lack of ambition, lies, ideology and demagoguery.
Save your children from this.
Cultivate in them knowledge, reading, knowledge, language, words, thinking.
You are sure to make them the leaders of tomorrow, because there will be a whole world to rebuild.
To imagine for a single moment that AI will save the human race from its own crass ignorance is an illusion.
At some point in life, you have to work.
When you haven’t worked for 20 years, it becomes difficult to train people to become real estate diagnosticians.
Without guys and other messes to make us DPE “ecological transition” point in the building.
And again, I haven’t told you about the guys and the bitches who no longer know how to repair gas boilers… who fart among the tenants in the accommodation.
A society can only function well when people are well trained.
In France and not only that, we “deform” our kids. Don’t give in to this. Resist. Prepare for the future by preparing your children.
It’s already too late, but all is not lost.
