A pileup involving six cars on the Valais highway took place on Tuesday morning. The A9 is closed between Riddes and Conthey causing traffic jams on the cantonal road which serves as a bypass.
Contacted by Keystone-ATS, the cantonal police could not yet provide further details, as the intervention was underway.
